The Best Parties in the Chicagoland area. 10 out of 10
Give them something more entertaining to share before the year ends.
Battle House Laser Tag in Lake Barrington brings company Christmas parties and holiday team building together through indoor, mission based games. Make the celebration about spending time with your people, with a little friendly competition mixed in.
No presentation about company culture required.
Book Your GroupGather your team from Barrington, Lake Zurich, Cary, Crystal Lake, Palatine, Schaumburg and the surrounding northwest suburbs for a holiday outing in Lake Barrington.
Keep the celebration close to the communities where your colleagues work and live rather than making a trip downtown part of the plan.
Invite the dealership staff, professional office, construction crew or family business. Bring coworkers from different branches or people who usually know each other through a name at the bottom of an email.
This is a chance to connect without needing a work question as an excuse.
Not everyone on the invitation list needs to play. Lake Barrington has a second floor lounge and viewing area where guests can watch the action over Main Street in the arena.
Somebody needs to witness the moment the person who organized the party becomes the most competitive player there.
When planning, share both your player count and total attendance. Discuss any access or accommodation needs in advance so those details are part of the conversation from the beginning.
Want to include a meal, employee awards or a gift exchange? Reserve an event room for the gathering. Outside food can be delivered or catered in, with food arrangements handled separately from the games. Or checkout the great food and spirits at our neighbor: the Wild Onion Brewery & Banquets.
Tell us how you would like the celebration to unfold. Confirm room availability and the time you need before arranging food delivery or promising a full awards ceremony.
You do not have to abandon the traditions your team enjoys. Give them something new to talk about while they enjoy them.
A gift exchange becomes considerably more interesting when everyone has just learned how competitive their coworkers really are.
Celebrate the people behind the work with something you can enjoy together.
Send your preferred dates, estimated attendance and gathering plans to start organizing your Lake Barrington holiday party.
Bring the team. Leave the work agenda behind.

They are great with kids. Any ages. My kids 7&10 were there playing for 2 hours and had a great time!!!! Love this place.
Great place for the kids to have fun with friends and burn off some extra energy! Don’t forget your battle house shirt for free upgrades…

This place is absolutely awesome. This is tactical laser tag with " missions", rather than the typically laser tag with all the blinky annoying lights. It's fun for kids as well as adults. The staff is excellent and professional. They are also phenomenal with individual groups like Explorer Princesses and Boy Scouts, etc. This place gets 5 stars easy.
I've played maybe 10-15 times, and usually all sessions go great. Typically any bad review is usually from immature kids who don't know how to listen, consistently break the rules, and might have to sit out a game.

An Absolute Blast! Not Your Average Laser Tag
We visited Battle House Laser Tag in Lake Barrington for a 2-hour session midday this past Saturday with the family, and it completely blew our expectations out of the water! If you are picturing the neon-lit, blacklight "kiddy" laser tag from the 90s, think again. This is a full-blown tactical, real-life video game experience.
The Arena & Vibe
The facility is massive—an indoor arena right around 15,000 square feet. It is built like a movie set or a first-person shooter map, complete with eight two-story buildings, alleys, and plenty of places to take cover. Because we went on a Saturday afternoon, it was pretty busy with a mix of birthday parties and walk-ins, but the arena is so large that it never felt unmanageably crowded.
Gameplay & Equipment
Instead of a simple "free-for-all," the games are structured around specific 15 to 25-minute missions. Over our 2-hour block, we played awesome scenarios like Capture the Flag, Search and Destroy, and VIP Escort.
The gear itself is top-notch. You are outfitted with head sensors and realistic-feeling taggers. A nice bonus for parents: the equipment uses safe, invisible infrared light (just like a TV remote), so there are no actual lasers to worry about with your eyes.
My son had a wonderful party at Battle House. The staff was fantastic and ensure we had a full 2 hours of play.
The facility is always clean, the equipment in great working order, and all have a great time.
